Brandy's Brunch Life: Batter & Berries #foodie #Chicago #Brunch

Hey Glitterati,

Lately I have been going to superb brunch restaurants,  because I love to brunch. I love breakfast as much as much as I love Mexican food. (FYI I love Mexican food). I take pics of my food and load them on Instagram, I got so much response to the food I posted,  I decided to start a segment on my blog about Brunchin.

My 1st post is on Batter & Berries, located on the northwest side of Chicago. The hostest was okay.  The waiter entertained me with his riddles. They were pretty good ones too.

Onto the food....the choices were great and flavorful. The first visit, I ordered a deconstructed omelet with cheesy hashbrowns, meaning the ingredients were on the outside of the egg, the french toast flight, and sweet potato hash browns. The French toast flight was amazing....strawberry, blueberry, lemon, caramel, raspberry cheesecake.

The second visit I enjoyed the chicken and waffle. The chicken breast was fried and drizzled in hot sauce, the waffle was sweet potato with chicken cooked in. Amazing!

I would recommend Batter & Berries based on food alone. The customer service is another a story. I'm all about customer service, and ambiance.  Will the place make me feel good about spending my money there?

I forgot to mention, Batter & Berries is Black owned and the chef is also Black.
